Impact Filtration Completes a Global Leadership Build, Appointing Senior Directors Across Asia, Europe, and Southern Africa

Four strategic appointments — in engineering, sustainability, Asia-Pacific sales, and European market execution — complete a global operating architecture that positions Impact Filtration to serve the world’s most critical water infrastructure markets with precision, credibility, and long-term commitment.

Winter Park, FL —— Impact Filtration®, a US-based engineering company specializing in high-performance infrastructure for water treatment and desalination systems, today announced the appointments of Esther Gonzalez as Senior Director of Sales and Strategy for Europe and South Africa, and Peter Wang as Sr. Sales Director for Asia. These announcements complete a sequence of four senior appointments since the fourth quarter of 2025, a deliberate, compounding build that now gives Impact Filtration a direct leadership presence across the world’s most active water infrastructure markets.

The appointments reflect a single, sustained conviction: that becoming a true global Infrastructure Architect requires building the human architecture to match. Engineering depth, sustainability leadership, and regional market intelligence, each layer has been added with intention, and each one strengthens the whole.

The Foundation: Engineering and Sustainability

The build began in the fourth quarter of 2025 with the appointment of Robert Lim as Sr. Director of Projects, an engineer whose work anchors Impact Filtration’s OptiFlow ERS™ modular rack platform and its broader ambition to deliver factory-ready, deployable water infrastructure at a global scale. His appointment established the technical backbone from which everything that followed now extends.

In March 2026, Impact Filtration announced Alejandro Sturniolo as Head of Sustainability, a 25-year water sector veteran whose mandate is both internal and industry-facing. Sturniolo has built his career at the intersection of engineering performance and environmental accountability, and his voice now represents Impact Filtration in the policy conversations and procurement networks shaping the next generation of global water infrastructure. His appointment also deepened the company’s strategic footing in Europe, where sustainability credibility is increasingly a prerequisite for serious commercial relationships.

Extending the Reach: Asia-Pacific

Peter Wang joins Impact Filtration as Sr. Sales Director for Asia, bringing more than three decades of commercial leadership in the water technology sector across Greater China and the broader Asia-Pacific region. Wang spent 21 years at The Dow Chemical Company as Sales Manager for Greater China, followed by 7.5 years as Commercial Director for Greater China at LG Chem / LG Water Solutions, where he grew the company’s industrial RO membrane business tenfold. His expertise spans RO membrane applications, ion exchange, and ultrafiltration, and his relationships across the region’s engineering and utility networks reflect decades of earned credibility.

Hattie’s appointment is particularly significant given Impact Filtration’s role as the exclusive authorized global sales representative of ROPV outside China and its strategic alignment with the CNBM Advanced Materials Division. His fluency in the Greater China commercial landscape, where much of the world’s water infrastructure engineering capability originates, strengthens the company’s ability to translate that alignment into lasting market outcomes across Asia.

“The Asia-Pacific market is where water infrastructure decisions are being made at scale and speed. The demand is real, the engineering complexity is high, and the relationships that matter have been built over the years. I have spent my career building those relationships and delivering results in this region. I look forward to bringing that to Impact Filtration, a company whose engineering platform and global partnerships are genuinely differentiated.”

—— Peter Wang, Sr. Sales Director for Asia, Impact Filtration

Completing the Architecture: Europe and Southern Africa

Esther Gonzalez joins as Senior Director of Sales and Strategy for Europe and South Africa, bringing extensive experience in international sales strategy and market development across complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Her appointment completes Impact Filtration’s global leadership structure, adding direct market execution capability in two regions where water infrastructure investment, regulatory pressure, and demand for engineered, sustainable solutions are converging rapidly.

Europe has entered a decisive period. Procurement frameworks are evolving to prioritize material longevity, lifecycle accountability, and verified environmental performance, criteria that align precisely with the engineering and sustainability position Impact Filtration has spent years building. Gonzalez brings the commercial experience and regional fluency to translate that position into tangible market relationships and long-term growth.

“Water infrastructure in Europe and South Africa is at an inflection point. Regulatory frameworks are maturing. Customers are asking harder questions about longevity, environmental performance, and the credibility of their partners. Impact Filtration has the engineering platform and the sustainability conviction to answer those questions with precision. I look forward to building those relationships with the depth and long-term commitment this market deserves.”

—— Esther Gonzalez, Senior Director of Sales and Strategy, Europe and South Africa, Impact Filtration

Together, the four appointments give Impact Filtration a leadership structure that spans engineering systems, sustainability thought leadership, Asia-Pacific commercial execution, and European and Southern African market development, a global architecture built not for a single quarter, but for the long arc of a company Hattie Wang and her team are designing to endure.

“Every person we have brought onto this leadership team was chosen for the same reason: they make the whole stronger. Robert brings the engineering rigor that makes our infrastructure promise real. Alejandro brings depth in sustainability and an industry voice that holds us to the highest standards. Peter brings three decades of commercial mastery in the region where our most important partnerships are rooted. And Esther brings market intelligence and relationship discipline to build something lasting in Europe and Southern Africa. This is not a collection of hires. This is a foundation, one we intend to build on for generations.”

—Hattie Wang, CEO, Impact Filtration

Across desalination, industrial, and municipal water markets worldwide, Impact Filtration’s infrastructure platform, anchored by the distribution of ROPV’s FRP Pressure Vessels, OptiFlow ERS™, and iFiltration® product lines, is gaining recognition not as a component offering but as a foundational engineering system. The standard for what world-class water infrastructure looks like, as Impact Filtration’s leadership frames it, is one this company intends to help define.
